KAFH meetings with Politicians & AJC

- Members of AJC Houston and the Kurdish community discuss Kurdish-Jewish relations.

- On behalf of Kurdish American Foundation of Houston (KAFH) we attended the 5th annual Immigration Summit held by American Jewish Committee (AJC) in Austin, Tx last night. Very productive and interesting topics were discussed. It is on C-SPAN Thank you AJC!!

- Proud to have co-hosted this AJC meeting between Young Professionals of the Kurdish American Foundation of Houston and YP Jews of AJC ACCESS. We have learnt a lot from each other and talked about common interests in the past and for the future

-The Kurdish American Foundation of Houston (KAFH) had a very productive meeting with U.S. Representative for the 14th District of Texas, Congressman Randy Weber. We look to continue to push awareness for Kurdistan and the people of Kurdistan.

- I had the special privilege to meet with both Houston Mayoral candidates Sylvester Turner & Bill King through our Kurdish American Foundation of Houston (KAFH).

-October 5th 2016: The (KAFH) Kurdish American Foundation of Houston had a very productive meeting with Congressman Gene Green, U.S. Representative for Texas's 29th Congressional District, today. We discussed several complex issues regarding the Kurds in Turkey, Syria, Iran, and Iraq as well as Kurds in the U.S. We will continue to work with Congressman Green and some of his close friends in Congress to make everyone aware of the Kurdish presence and identity in Kurdistan and the United States.
